With a search field of 9 of Los Angeles’ most desirable zip codes resulting in 50 search results, 840 S. Cloverdale was by far the stand out listing. Compared with the single family homes listed one year or even just six months ago, the market of affordable, move in ready houses in prime locations below $1,000,000 is long gone, and so this house can look expensive for what you are getting. But as we tell our clients, buyers and sellers, all that matters in real estate is the condition of the market today. Forget what happened yesterday, what deal you saw 5 months ago or 2 weeks ago, if it isn’t currently active it’s a moot point. All that matters is the current comparables.
