Therefore we at Real Realty LA are going to break down the nine condos currently for sale in the West Hollywood Vicinity between $250,000 and $350,000 and let you know which unit has the best bang for your buck.

Review: The interior of this unit is lovely but when buying a condo, it is not just about the single unit but about the upkeep and style of the whole building and given the age of this building (1972) one must be sure to really analyze the the common areas etc. You do not want the one remodeled unit in a building of original kitchens, bathrooms and carpet flooring. This building has a really fun location, walking distance to the restaurants and bars on both Sunset and Santa Monica but it is on an extremely busy main road that is a major through road over Laurel Canyon and into the valley.

Review: I’ve seen multiple units in this building and they definitely range from Hollywood chic to formica countertops and shag pile carpet but the location is definitely stunning. Many units in this building can be quite dark and so whilst this unit definitely needs upgrading and modernizing, the fact it has ample sunlight is a definite plus. My only real criticism of the building is that the pool, sandwiched between the hillside to the north and the building, it gets little sunlight throughout the day which is a great shame. But for anyone willing to put in $20,000-$30,000 upgrading the unit, this could be a great buy.

Review: I should start this with the disclaimer that I love vintage buildings. Like really, really love them.! I just think the original detailing of the crown molding, and other plaster work is just not recreated these days. That being said the kitchen definitely needs to be worked on, talk about a cheap remodel. There is no charm or character in there whatsoever. If definitely doesn’t look bad, I’ve not seen this building personally but there are a large number of building in WeHo that have a similar layout and for the price I am most definitely a fan.

Review: This unit definitely has the square footage and a great location sure to suit a number of people. That being said, having not seen the unit but with a distinct lack of pictures, I am going to assume there will be quite a bit of work needed. Long story short, if you are someone who is prepared to enter into a short sale then this is looks to be a good option. HOA dues seems high in comparison to other units but this building has Earthquake insurance.
