Studio Units, Deal or No Deal?

You’ve seen a number of blog posts about The Rob Clark over the last few months, and whilst this building is one of my favorites for investors and first time buyers, it most certainly isn’t the only one. Another building that has a similar history and lifestyle to The Rob Clark is the Hollywood Regis at 7320 Hawthorn Ave.

Below are two studio units currently on the market in these two fantastic buildings. Whilst studio units do lack the interior space of one bedroom condos, we feel these two buildings and the price tags for these units, more than compensate for the small square footage. What do you guys think? Would you forgo square footage to get your foot on the property ladder? Would lease rates between $1,600 and $2,200/month convince you of their investment potential?

In 2011 three studio units, listed on the MLS, at the Rob Clark leased between $1,600 and $2,000/month. From 2010-2011 three studio units hit the MLS for lease and leased between $1,900 and $2,200/month, showing that these buildings provide a high ROI for any investors looking.
